Why I’m Here & Why You Should Know

There is truly only one reason why I’ve chose to start up this blog and proceed into the world of internet marketing: to be happy.

And what do I mean as being happy?  Well, happy in the sense of this blog and the rest of the internet as being the largest opportunity for me to grow into a successful marketer and become a financially independent person.  The happy I’m talking about is the sense of freedom and possibilities that could come from running your own business online.  I have various goals, but the first is simply to eliminate the need for a structured, 40 hour per week, 8-5 job.  Does that even sound pleasing to ANYONE?!  Heck no!

Before I get any deeper, I think you should learn my story and a get to know who I am and where I came from.  Let’s rewind to a little over two years ago…

I was working along side my great friend, Matt Wolfe, at his parents’ manufacturing company when we realized that this is no way we’d choose to go through life, showing up to work day to day and dealing with the same situations.  That is when we decided to create a blog about personal finance and entrepreneurship.  Matt ended up mainly heading up that site, HowIWillBeRich.com, while I decided to head a separate blog about health and fitness, called BeHealthyAndRelax.com.

When starting our first blog, we did not know there was great potential to make money from it, we originally used it as a place to share what we’ve learned about money and starting your own business.  It wasn’t until later that we learned about money-making techniques like Google AdSense and various other advertising methods.

For those last two years, we have slimmed back our blogging because we weren’t seeing a whole heck of a lot of cash making potential (granted we are pulling in nearly $150 per month during months we wouldn’t update at all.  I guess that’s not too bad as passive income, but it definitely wasn’t going to allow us to quit our day jobs!).

For the past few months, Matt and I have been experimenting with various internet marketing techniques that we’ve been reading on forums, such as the Warrior Forum.  Since then we have seen very slim results, but do see that there is a HUGE potential for life-changing earnings, it’s just that we didn’t know where to begin.

That leads me to the present.  It is the night before my business partner, Matt, and I start an intense training program with Alex Jeffreys.  If you’ve never heard of him, he is a VERY SUCCESSFUL internet marketer who is taking a select number of students to teach as their mentor.  I hope that his program will guide me down the path of happiness that I have been searching for online.
