So I chose to record a lesson on mind mapping as a presentation.
I got over the basics of what mind mapping is for those who have no clue. I’ll also cover the benefits and some simple steps to get started.
It’s a little different than what I’m used to, but let’s give it a shot…
As I said in the video, look for a followup video showing you where to get your free mind mapping tools and exactly how to use the program. This quick tutorial will take away the learning curve you would have if you dove straight in!
Tell me what you thought about the video!!

Great video Joey! Good work! We both know by now how important mindmapping can be. We basically run our lives around it these days!

Hi Joe,
Thanks for making the video – mindmaps are very useful and although I thought it looked hard when I first saw them, they are really easy.
I recommend everyone tried them out,
Thanks

Keith & Matt,
I’m glad you guys both enjoyed the video… that gives me the motivation to make more of these rather than writing posts!
And just as you said, Keith, I thought they would be difficult, as well. But now it’s the first thing I turn to when I get an idea.
Joe
Hi Joe,
How cool is that video…I was just taking five from mindmapping this evening to hop on over to the fellow students blogs and yours was right on cue.
Thanks Joe,
Great video

Hey Joe, great video on mindmaps bro. You are doing great in not only following Alex’s teachings but then showing others how to do it as well.
I’m going to follow your example and use the mindmapping to do my next project and record how it goes.
Just remember that everything you do can end up being a product in itself so make sure when you do your videos that you make every effort to make all of the different formats necessary to sell your video series as a product later when you have made several of them.
This saves you a ton of time in the product creation process because right now you may be thinking that you are just making videos to help but in the end people will sign up to your list or pay you a small fee for videos like this.
Hope this gets your creative thoughts going once again.

Hey Mike,
Thanks for some good feedback on that video. It seems like people are much more interested in something they could sit back and watch to learn, rather than be at full attention reading everything.
And you brought up a very good point, just last night, actually, I thought of that exact thing you wrote, save everything I do. I need to start organizing everything for the future so I could possibly use these to build a product for this page. I’d definitely be killing two birds with one stone with this method.
Thanks for pointing it out. I’ll get back to you about everything else tomorrow… it’s getting pretty late out here, too!
Joe
All becomes clear….the video was great joe thanks
You motivated me to have go myself thanks

AWESOME video my man. MindMapping really does rock, it keeps all my excited thoughts in order so I dont run off and do 100 things at once!
The video is AWESOME buddy, I am loving those mac created slides
(Get ready to do those ones we talked about man)
I really enjoyed the video my friend.
Michael hit THE nail on the head there too, planning so you can put this stuff together for a product in future is the way to go, as we said last night on our call, just recording some of the stuff we were talking about in our conversation was a product right there!
(And we would have just had to record it, wrap it up and its done cause we were having the conversation ANYWAY!)
For me, thats a great way to think about product creation, it also ties in with the fact that taking quick ACTION really shows great rewards.
Awesome once again man, catch up soon!
Hi Joe,
Nicely laid out video, it goes right along with the concept of mind mapping. This is one of the biggest lessons I have learned so far! Like you pointed out, organization helps bring focus to your goals. Doing a brain dump alone I realize how disorganize my thoughts were.
I look forward to your postings!
