		<description>Hi Gary,

I appreciate you checking out my blog and seeing what I have here. I&#039;m happy it looks like I&#039;m headed in the right direction. Thank you!

Indeed I did read Power of Choice. I actually read that the day you posted it on the forum.

It was a very inspiring read and hit home with me. I really like your method of showing people to give everything their full potential! Very good words.

Thanks for coming and please stop by again! Take care.

		<description>Hi Joe,

Gary here from MWA-1.0.

Nice blog. Very professional looking and your logo looks really good too!

The most pertinent thing you said IMHO:

&lt;blockquote&gt;&quot;Don’t let ANYONE stand in between you and your goals!&quot;&lt;/blockquote&gt;

Have you read Power of Choice? That will drive you to succeed like nothing you will ever read again.

Regards

Gary Simpson

		<description>@Paul

Great to see that you&#039;re thinking along the same lines as I am.

Those smaller goals really never made me feel as great as if I were to accomplish something MUCH BIGGER. They are definitely important, but should be used as stepping stones to the larger picture.

@Rob

Yeah, 15 days away on a boat might be a little long for some people, but I&#039;m happy my example hit home with you.

This &quot;shooting for the stars&quot; idea was always something that I&#039;ve done for myself, but fell in and out of over time.

Luckily our brilliant mentor of ours reminded me about it and to take action by mind mapping it all.

Now that it&#039;s all laid out for me, my large goals don&#039;t seem so far fetched anymore... which is a WONDERFUL feeling!

btw, you&#039;ve got some great stuff on your blog!

		<description>@Bob
It&#039;s so true!

Setting that one final goal in the future is only step one of the process. It&#039;s the little goals along the way that really sparks the fire in your because it makes the ending goal more realistic... even if it seems so far out of reach.

Best of luck, and we&#039;ll talk soon, man!

		<description>Hi Joe,

Setting goals and then focusing on reaching them has always been a problem of mine. I finally have something (a goal) that I want very badly so now I am working on setting the goals I will need to accomplish in order to achieve the final goal.

		<description>Hi Joe,

Great post there, I keep adding more things to my goals all the time at moment. I totally agree you need to set yourself some big goals as well as the smaller ones, you need something that&#039;s going to really make you want to work hard. Also when you&#039;ve hit those easy to achieve goals, although you may be happy for while, you could end up getting demotivated because you&#039;d have nothing bigger to aim for. It&#039;s always best to have some big goals in the mix right from the start.

Enjoy the journey, I&#039;ll stop by again soon.

Paul.

		<description>Joe,

Great story on the difference between a weak goal and something truly worth fighting for.

Not sure I&#039;m a cruise kind of guy, but I&#039;m know you&#039;ve reminded me to crank up the size of the prize I&#039;m going after.

Heck, how many times have I heard &quot;reach for the stars and you&#039;ll probably at least hit the moon&quot;.

Not sure who he was referring to, but Alex Jeffreys when asked what he thought of someones goals had this to say &#039;set your goals higher... they&#039;re just to small&#039;... WOW.

That makes two, both you and him.

I think I&#039;ll sit back and start dreaming about something bigger.

Thanks,

Rob

P.S. hope to see you at my blog sometime soon... cheers.

<description>Great post Joe. It&#039;s funny because I created a very detailed list of my goals a few days ago. And I mean really detailed. I had income targets, personal purchases, business plans, and so much more involved. Alex Jeffreys looked at it and told me that my sights weren&#039;t set high enough. He said that my goals were good but I should set the bar higher for myself. I guess I agree. I was shooting for the weekend in San Francisco when I should be shooting for the cruise.

		<description>Thanks a lot Jim!

It&#039;s too bad that planning and goal setting isn&#039;t a natural habit... at least for some people, LIKE ME! We would have been successes a long time ago!

But hey, there&#039;s no race with this, so now we know to keep out eye on the ball and never give up.

Talk to you soon, Jim.
