As you might have seen, I’ve been running a “test launch” for my newest product, Video Simplified. I’m planning on launching it to everyone online using a large-scale approach in January.

But that’s besides the point…

I’ve decided to shoot a fairly quick video showing what my setup currently looks like (how I was planning on launching the site) and what I’m now deciding to change to.

So this is your look into the inner-workings of the heart of my business (currently) so you can get an understanding of what goes on when launching a product!

Well I just wanted to give you my little two cents on the subject since it’s really had me thinking a lot since I saw some videos swirling around for its launch last week.

I’m not one to spend too much money on internet marketing products since I feel I have a really good grasp of how to make money online. But something about this new product really struck a chord with me.

Check out what I found out about it once I purchased the product and dug around inside. I think you’ll find it pretty shocking…

I was commenting on some threads in the Warrior Forum and started answering questions from a couple of newbies just starting out in internet marketing.

We went back and forth a few times in private messaging and they had more questions, so I was just shooting back my best responses from my own experiences.

This is when it really hit me. One of the guys said that he “extremely appreciates the thought out responses I’m giving him” and “WOW, you actually just solved my problem completely!”

They continued to tell me that they were not expecting such a response from someone they’ve never talked to and someone who has experience.

I realized that many marketers don’t like spending the time to genuinely HELP people when they have a question and that most people are shooting themselves in the foot because of it.

That led me to creating the video below and how you could start helping people do the same.

This is something that I have done since day one, so if you’re just starting out or even have been in the game for a while, this will genuinely help you!

How are you liking the new stuff?

Anyways, today I just finished editing this quick video I shot the other day.

In here I’m talking about how I’ve been doing some offline sales stuff on the side. I’ve been doing this for: one, it’s pretty good money and two, it helps to refine my skills as a salesman.

Not only has this offline stuff helped me really sell a bunch of products in-person, but it has also allowed me to become more comfortable selling to people online.

A lot of people have been or still are in these sales types of positions. If you’re not and you feel like you need some help with your online sales, check out the video. I give you some pointers and ways to sharpen your sales skills.

Just remember, sales is not a dirty word. It’s the only way you’ll ever make a living online, so become the best you can at it!

A couple of weekends ago myself, Matt Wolfe and Josh Bartlett attended Frank Kern’s List Control seminar together at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego (just about a 5 minute drive from my house).  Let me tell you, that thing was awesome!!

That’s just a couple from a ton of pictures that we got with some really awesome people who attended.

So what’s really cool about going to these seminars anyway?

What a lot of people think when it comes to seminars is all of the content and information they’re going to go off and use in their businesses.

Well that’s a great reason to attend these things, but not always the only reason.

At Frank’s seminar there were a variety of awesome speakers, including Frank himself. You never know exactly what you’re going to get when going to these events, but you always seem to walk away with a brand new way at looking at your business and how you could do things better.

This seminar was no different. After hearing Bill Glazer and Jordan Belfort (The Wolf of Wall Street) speak, my mind was thinking a whole new way. Not only that, but I was pages and pages deep into my custom List Control notebook with my chicken scratch.

Just as you might have thought, the other (and sometimes more important) reason why I love attending seminars is because of the amazing people you can meet. Not only can you meet some of the speakers and big names in the industry, you meet a huge variety of attendees, some of which could turn into potential business partners.

While at the event and after hearing the speakers and talking to some of the attendees, I’ve been able to gather my thoughts and focus on what is most important in my business and what will further me the quickest.

One of my goals for this year and those to come is to attend a variety of seminars so I can accomplish these two things. Not only are you going to gain some “insider” knowledge, you could meet people who have the potential to change your life!

But it shouldn’t be that way.

So here I am, again, making the promise to myself that I’ll try and write a blog post/post a video at least once a week!

Well, that was a nice setting for a video, but even moreso, one heck of a story!

When I put Matt’s formula into action, it completely took me up and spun me around. No more day job and no more dreaded alarm clock!

I’m guessing that those are two things that you dread almost everyday, so why don’t you do yourself a favor…

If you don’t know yet, in one week I am taking the leap from a
slave to the 8-5 workday and am going focus all of my energy, sweat and tears online.

Don’t worry, I won’t cry too much, but it is sure scaring the hell out of me and my lovely
wife, Heather, but that comes with any other entrepreneur’s experience out there.

I’m sure if you’re reading this post, you have at least the slightest interest in making some
money online, and I throughly encourage you to push, kick and fight until you could
succeed. Quitting my day job to focus solely on an online business has been a dream of
mine for so many years now, but not only until now have I had the courage and confidence
that there’s no way I could fail. Sure, failure is an element in the game, but there’s no sight
of it in my future.

I do have bad vision… maybe I need to check the prescription of my contact lens!

Either way, I’ve decided to leave a day job where I was offered a full-time position for a
very successful construction company in downtown San Diego in marketing. For anyone
else who has graduated recently, you’d think I’m a madman and have gone off the deep end!

It’s crossed my mind a few times that I might be a little insane, but that’s what fuels the
desire. I have a flame in my stomach and a fire lit under my ass right now, hence why this
post might sound a little out of the norm.

Just Do It!

It all boils down to the fact that I want you to feel the same. If you have some talent with
marketing online and have the desire to create some real money from it, I want you to
break from the norm and live your dream. I want to see you kicking and screaming and
sacrificing sleep hours so you could do what you want, and get paid for it.

All you need is the time to learn, get some experience, have the desire and most of all,
get the support of your family and friends. I have been absolutely blessed to have the
overwhelming support from my wife and family and two great friends, Matt Wolfe and
Josh Bartlett. With the help of them, I would not have the confidence to make this leap.

I urge you to do the same!

In the meantime, I have been burying my head in Gary Vaynerchuk’s book, Crush It!
This is a book that scream for you to pursue your passions and make a living from them.

If you haven’t heard of Gary, watch the video below of him at a recent conference.
You’ll soon realize that this guy doesn’t hold anything back! He has turned a decent
wine business into a $70 million machine! Listen to him speak, it’ll give you some
inspiration…
