I was commenting on some threads in the Warrior Forum and started answering questions from a couple of newbies just starting out in internet marketing.

We went back and forth a few times in private messaging and they had more questions, so I was just shooting back my best responses from my own experiences.

This is when it really hit me. One of the guys said that he “extremely appreciates the thought out responses I’m giving him” and “WOW, you actually just solved my problem completely!”

They continued to tell me that they were not expecting such a response from someone they’ve never talked to and someone who has experience.

I realized that many marketers don’t like spending the time to genuinely HELP people when they have a question and that most people are shooting themselves in the foot because of it.

That led me to creating the video below and how you could start helping people do the same.

This is something that I have done since day one, so if you’re just starting out or even have been in the game for a while, this will genuinely help you!

How are you liking the new stuff?

Anyways, today I just finished editing this quick video I shot the other day.

In here I’m talking about how I’ve been doing some offline sales stuff on the side. I’ve been doing this for: one, it’s pretty good money and two, it helps to refine my skills as a salesman.

Not only has this offline stuff helped me really sell a bunch of products in-person, but it has also allowed me to become more comfortable selling to people online.

A lot of people have been or still are in these sales types of positions. If you’re not and you feel like you need some help with your online sales, check out the video. I give you some pointers and ways to sharpen your sales skills.

Just remember, sales is not a dirty word. It’s the only way you’ll ever make a living online, so become the best you can at it!

A couple of weekends ago myself, Matt Wolfe and Josh Bartlett attended Frank Kern’s List Control seminar together at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego (just about a 5 minute drive from my house).  Let me tell you, that thing was awesome!!

So what’s really cool about going to these seminars anyway?

What a lot of people think when it comes to seminars is all of the content and information they’re going to go off and use in their businesses.

Well that’s a great reason to attend these things, but not always the only reason.

At Frank’s seminar there were a variety of awesome speakers, including Frank himself. You never know exactly what you’re going to get when going to these events, but you always seem to walk away with a brand new way at looking at your business and how you could do things better.

This seminar was no different. After hearing Bill Glazer and Jordan Belfort (The Wolf of Wall Street) speak, my mind was thinking a whole new way. Not only that, but I was pages and pages deep into my custom List Control notebook with my chicken scratch.

Just as you might have thought, the other (and sometimes more important) reason why I love attending seminars is because of the amazing people you can meet. Not only can you meet some of the speakers and big names in the industry, you meet a huge variety of attendees, some of which could turn into potential business partners.

While at the event and after hearing the speakers and talking to some of the attendees, I’ve been able to gather my thoughts and focus on what is most important in my business and what will further me the quickest.

One of my goals for this year and those to come is to attend a variety of seminars so I can accomplish these two things. Not only are you going to gain some “insider” knowledge, you could meet people who have the potential to change your life!

Well, that was a nice setting for a video, but even moreso, one heck of a story!

Imagine if you were to stumble on the to same formula… how would it change you life?

When I put Matt’s formula into action, it completely took me up and spun me around. No more day job and no more dreaded alarm clock!

I’m guessing that those are two things that you dread almost everyday, so why don’t you do yourself a favor…

For one, I attended the second module of Alex Jeffreys’ mentoring program, which was awesome as always! But secondly, I have been taking it upon myself to help others in the course with various elements of their blog creations.

For those of us who are in Alex’s program, we all know that the power of GIVING always pays off in the end. It’s not that we are giving for the fact that we are expecting people to pay you boat loads of cash in the future, but rather for that fact that relationships with be built and reputations and experiences will spread.

I am fairly new to the internet marketing world, but I feel like I’m really digging in deep and making a presence in the areas I am focused in. And the largest one right now is to help the students with their blog images and theme creation.

Just over the last few days, I have happily helped five fine folks to begin their own journey in the internet marketing world. I remember how it felt when I didn’t have the slightest clue to of how to create a blog from scratch and whip up a decent header image to display to the world.

Now that I’m feeling much more confident with my abilities, I have publicly asked people on Alex’s forum if they would need my help, free of charge. At first there was a delay, but now I have been receiving a couple new people a day. It’s AMAZING!

I don’t mind that there is no money coming in for this, but at least I’m building relationships and trying to get others to the level I’m at today. I am fully confident that in the very near future I’ll reach my income targets for the year and be very happy.

At this moment I am in “learning and teaching mode”… but definitely much more learning than teaching!

What this all boils down to is that GIVING will ALWAYS pay off in the end. Connections will be made and people will remember your name. It’s all in the power of giving, my friends!

Take it or leave it!!

And what do I mean as being happy?  Well, happy in the sense of this blog and the rest of the internet as being the largest opportunity for me to grow into a successful marketer and become a financially independent person.  The happy I’m talking about is the sense of freedom and possibilities that could come from running your own business online.  I have various goals, but the first is simply to eliminate the need for a structured, 40 hour per week, 8-5 job.  Does that even sound pleasing to ANYONE?!  Heck no!

Before I get any deeper, I think you should learn my story and a get to know who I am and where I came from.  Let’s rewind to a little over two years ago…

I was working along side my great friend, Matt Wolfe, at his parents’ manufacturing company when we realized that this is no way we’d choose to go through life, showing up to work day to day and dealing with the same situations.  That is when we decided to create a blog about personal finance and entrepreneurship.  Matt ended up mainly heading up that site, HowIWillBeRich.com, while I decided to head a separate blog about health and fitness, called BeHealthyAndRelax.com.

When starting our first blog, we did not know there was great potential to make money from it, we originally used it as a place to share what we’ve learned about money and starting your own business.  It wasn’t until later that we learned about money-making techniques like Google AdSense and various other advertising methods.

For those last two years, we have slimmed back our blogging because we weren’t seeing a whole heck of a lot of cash making potential (granted we are pulling in nearly $150 per month during months we wouldn’t update at all.  I guess that’s not too bad as passive income, but it definitely wasn’t going to allow us to quit our day jobs!).

For the past few months, Matt and I have been experimenting with various internet marketing techniques that we’ve been reading on forums, such as the Warrior Forum.  Since then we have seen very slim results, but do see that there is a HUGE potential for life-changing earnings, it’s just that we didn’t know where to begin.

That leads me to the present.  It is the night before my business partner, Matt, and I start an intense training program with Alex Jeffreys.  If you’ve never heard of him, he is a VERY SUCCESSFUL internet marketer who is taking a select number of students to teach as their mentor.  I hope that his program will guide me down the path of happiness that I have been searching for online.
